Easter Events for the Family at Chepstow Museum

Chepstow Museum have an Eggs-trordinary schedule of Easter fun lined up for kids this Easter running every day until April 15.

There;s a competition to design your ideal decorated egg, while this year’s egg hunt has been laid to make young visitors look ‘eggs-tra’ hard at the displays in Chepstow Museum. It will take keen eyes to spot where the eggs have been cunningly camouflaged amongst the exhibits! And this year some cute bunnies and chicks have muscled in on the act…just how many is something else for the hunters to find!

“The spirit of a hunt is always fun and challenging for everyone as well as being traditional at Easter, and we hope that adults will enjoy doing this together with their children. It also encourages people to look harder at the objects in the displays and to think about what they are and how they were used!” said curator Anne Rainsbury. “We hope that even very young ones will be helped along and that this will be fun for families to do together”

The Museum is not so hard-boiled to resist egging you on to come and eggs-plore the museum’s eggs-ibits - there may even be a small egg at the end of it!

Theres also some Easter Puzzles to take home and unscramble…just to add to the Eggs-tra fun!
And this year there’s a special competition to create a design for a decorated egg.
