Nell Bryden – Bloom
(157 Records)

Bloom is Nell Bryden’s fourth studio album and is a beautiful affair from the moment the opening track In The Morning kicks off. Taking inspiration from her own life the album encompasses every human emotion from the poignant to the triumphant.
The haunting song of lost-love Thought I Was Meant For You has already gained much praise as an air-play hit, and Nell has ensured that the further 12 tracks on the album stand up to an equal quality.

The albums strength is its acoustic intimacy paired with upbeat pop and edgy rock. Dared the World And Won, Feels So Good To Cry and My House are strong variations on Bloom’s rich palette of offerings.

A strong release proving the title matches the content, Nell Bryden’s music is certainly continuing to Bloom.
