Beans on Toast To Promote Independent Venue Week

Following the recent release of his 8th album A Spanner in The Works, Essex folk singer Beans on Toast will play Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach on January 25 as part of a week-long tour across England and Wales promoting Independent Venue Week.

Each venue of the tour will see Beans joined by local act and In addition, will cost no more than a ten pounds in order for the audience to support the local independent venue.

Supported by Arts Council England, Independent Venue Week started in 2014 as a 7-day celebration of small music venues around the UK and highlights the need for grass roots independent venues, many of which are closing. Beans on Toast’s has chosen to highlight the situation on his new album via the track, The Drum Kit, about the closing of UK music venues.
