DVD Review: High-Rise

High Rise (StudioCanal, 15)
New to DVD is the character driven drama, Ben Wheatley's High-Rise, featuring  finds Tom Hiddleston as Dr. Robert Laing, in 1975 moving into a West London apartment seeking soulless anonymity, only to find that the building’s residents have no intention of leaving him alone.

Resigned to the complex social dynamics unfolding around him, Laing bites the bullet and becomes neighbourly. As he struggles to establish his position, Laing’s good manners and sanity disintegrate along with the building.

Fans of unfolding atmospheric drama will enjoy this release with additional extras including Directors commentary and cast interviews with Tom Hiddleston, Sienna Miller, Luke Evans and Jeremy Irons.
